Tenebris Corporation hereby notifies Earth-facing financial institutions, commercial participants and other authorised users of a monetary reform enacted by the Imperial Federation of Omniverse (IFO) Central Government, effective 1 January 2020.
Under this reform, the previous Earth-exclusive monetary regime governing Femto Credit (f₡) has been abolished.
Femto Credit is now recognised as Federation-wide legal tender, available for use by the IFO Central Government and throughout Federation internal markets.
This change concerns the legal and monetary status of Femto Credit within the Federation. The IFO Bank and the relevant Federation monetary authorities retain responsibility for monetary issuance, settlement and the underlying financial infrastructure.
Tenebris Corporation will continue to administer the authorised distribution and purchase arrangements through which Femto Credit is made available to Earth.
Updated Earth Price Reference
The recorded Earth-facing valuation on 1 January 2020 is:
1 Femto Credit (f₡) = 162,394 United States Dollars (USD)
This represents an increase from the recorded valuation of USD 96,033 on 1 January 2019.
The stated figure is a market price reference for the specified date. Subsequent transactions remain subject to prevailing market prices and applicable settlement requirements.
Earth Access Arrangements
Earth-facing participants will continue to operate within the authorised Femto Credit access framework.
The Federation-wide legal-tender designation does not extend Earth’s monetary access to higher denominations of Intergalactic Credit (ICredit).
Existing purchase, settlement and commercial access requirements remain applicable, including the use of authorised financial channels.
